My daughter and I loved reading this book together! When she was around age 10, I bought her her own copy, signed it, and then we read it together one chapter at a time at bedtime. After we had read and discussed it together, I made sure it was on her book shelf and she occasionally refers back to it, re-reading sections of interest at the time. I definately plan to buy another copy for my younger daughter.
