Do you or your children have naturally curly or wavy hair? Are you frustrated with how to get it cut, style it, and how to keep it from being frizzy? Lorraine Massey, the author of this book and co-owner of a Manhattan salon, also had this problem. She will teach you about the type of curl you have and how to best wash it and care for it. She shares healthy recipes for shampo and conditioners that are better than store-bought products. Lorraine also provides some simple suggestions on how to style your hair.

The only thing I would caution is to read this book for yourself before handing it to your daughter. There are some statements about curly hair being more "sexy" and "flirty" that I personally would not approve of my daughters reading.
