Jane Claire Lambert
Supplement to Volumes I, II, and III with lessons on character and coordinating Bible verses for each of the stories in all three volumes.

REVIEW
I found this resource very helpful as I planned my units in Five in a Row. We try to tie our homeschool closely to building a Godly character in our children. Therefore Mrs. Lambert's ideas on how to pull lessons on character or a Biblical themes from each of the picture books in Volumes I, II and III were very helpful to me. She also included a number of Scriptures that could be referenced in each story. Sometimes I didn't actually use the theme or Scripture she pointed out but it was good to have a reference to start from or fall back upon if I didn't find another lesson upon which I wanted to focus. If you are using Five in a Row I and want to include a Scriptural basis I recommend this book. It isn't necessary. You can find the themes and Scriptures yourself but I found it helpful.
