Preschool-K Everything for early learning published by McGraw-Hill Children's Publishing is a great tool for preschool-aged children. It is a workbook that covers all the essential beginning skills children need to know to get a jump-start to learning. I used this as my main curriculum for my twins when they were 3 years old. This resource is divided up into 5 sections: Reading Readiness, Math Readiness, Sizes, Shapes and Colors, Numbers. and Letters and Sounds. I especially liked the pages for beginning writing because it taught common writing strokes to help gain fine motor control. One of the best qualities about this book is the expense - it costs less than 10 dollars for the book! I had my children do 2 or 3 pages 3 times a week (no more than 15 minutes a day)and found that my children's learning grew rapidly.
