If you are starting a preschool, just starting a homeschool with preschool aged children this is the book for you. Skills for Preschool Teachers by Janice J. Beaty is a text book that I read while getting my degree in teaching. The book consists of 13 chapters from setting up a classroom and learning centers to physical, social, creative and cognitive learning to creating a fun and functional environment and much more. This text book is filled with a ton of information. I found this book extremely helpful as a new teacher and still refer to it.
