All the animals in the stable are welcoming a baby Jesus with their characteristic noise. However, Donkey is worried his bray will frighten the baby. In the end however, the baby smiles and welcomes the Donkey and the Donkey keeps the baby warm.

REVIEW
This simple yet sweet story about the baby Christ accepting the Donkey when he feels unworthy has a wonderful message. The story itself is simple with very large text however there is a deeper meaning behind the seemingly short story about God accepting and even enjoying us just as we are.

All ages will enjoy this story. Young children can understand the animals welcoming the baby and will enjoy the large pictures and short verse. Older children will benefit from examining the deeper meaning behind the story.
