from the book jacket:
Using passages from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible and a simple connecting narrative, Nonny Hogrogian relates the story of the first Christmas.

REVIEW
I enjoyed this book because it used actual Scripture to tell the story of Jesus' birth along with illustrations to engage a young reader. This is not a long book but it tells the story of Jesus and does not include 'side' stories or animal perspectives. Those stories are fun but it is nice to find a picture book that is true to Scripture and also in a format to which younger children will be drawn.
