This is one of the best books about Thanksgiving for the baby-preschool set I have seen! It is a sturdy board book and looks at the holiday and the history behind it in a wholesome sweet way and does not leave out the idea that the Pilgrims were not just thankful, but thankful to their God for his provision and care of them. It includes the words "Thanksgiving Day", "Pilgrims", "Native Americans", "England", "new land" , "Mayflower", "Plymouth", "God", "Squanto", "pumpkins", and others in bold, colorful letters.
