The Three Cousins Detective Club Series by Elspeth Campbell Murphy is a wonderful beginning chapter book mystery series. There are over 20 books in this series. Each book emphesizes Christian character such as kindness, gentleness, etc. The chapters are short and the stories are interesting and uplifting. One of my favorite parts about these stories is the amount of respect the children show adults. Even though the children are solving the cases they ask for advice and help from their parents and grandparents.

I highly recommend these books. My children and I have really enjoyed them.
