This book is another in the series of 'Let's Read and Find Out Science' books. I recommend this series highly. We really enjoy these books. They are written in such a way that young children (preschool-3rd grade) enjoy them but also provide a great deal of educational information regarding the given topic. Older students may even enjoy reading them as independent reading.
